…meet the Board

As a resident of Fletcher, Clay is very active in the community. In addition to Chairing the FABA Board of Directors for 2007, he also serves on the Executive Board for the Fletcher Fire Department. Clay has been helping residents of Arden, Fletcher and South Asheville with pain relief since 1996. He is the Chiropractor and owner of Siegel Chiropractic & Massage . His new office is centrally located at 3272 Hendersonville Road, Fletcher. This new state of the art facility offers chiropractic care, as well as a full Salon/Day spa, which offers massage, hair, nails, wraps, and spa packages.

My wife Carol and I own and operate D C Studio, a private dance studio, where we provide Social Ballroom Dance Instruction by appointment on a limited schedule.  We relocated to Fletcher, here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, from Long Island New York in 1998 where we had been teaching Ballroom Dancing since 1986.  We currently teach all levels from beginners through advanced in both the Smooth and Latin Rhythms.  Our instruction is based on the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) standards and the international figure definitions as defined by the Imperial Society of Dance Teachers (ISDT).  We are instructor members of USA Dance (Formally USABDA - United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association).

George Alexsovich has been employed as the Events Officer at the Park Ridge Hospital Foundation since August 2008. He is responsible for a series of annual events to raise funds that provide partial assistance for a variety of Park Ridge Hospital programs, capital projects and the purchase of major medical equipment. Programs supported by the Foundation's events include the Wellness on Wheels Van which last year provided free health screenings to over 5,300 adults, KidPower-Energize! a program for the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity and the PREP program which provides free screenings for all children prior to entering the Henderson County school system to detect issues with hearing and vision and developmental delays.

Immediately prior to joining the Foundation, George was the Executive Director of the Arts Council of Henderson County. He has been involved in the arts for more than thirty years and has been a passionate advocate of symphony orchestras, art education and the use of the art as a tool for economic development. Having graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a degree in performance, George spent six years as a symphony musician. He later entered arts management and spent the majority of his career as a symphony executive with several orchestras including Baltimore and Atlanta where he served as general manger. In the fall of 2002, he produced ArtsIgnite, a sixteen - day, $1 million, multi-disciplinary art festival for the Art Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County and managed the Council's $1.9 million annual campaign.

George resides in Hendersonville with his wife Charlotte, a nurse at Mission Hospital.

A native of Haywood County and now lives in Fletcher.  He is the Branch Manager for Mountain Credit Union's Fletcher Branch.  He has been employed with Mountain Credit Union since 2002 and has been the Branch Manager in Fletcher since 2005.  His wife, Leigh Ann, works for Mission Hospital in Asheville.  They have two daughters, Rebekah and Eden.

Mark has served as Town Manager for the Town of Fletcher since January of 2006. As Town Manager, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the various services that the Town provides for its residents. Prior to coming to Fletcher Mark served as the County Manager in Gates County, North Carolina. Mark has served on the FABA Board for over a year now and is very excited about the opportunities that are available for businesses to grow in the Fletcher community.

Sandi Donaldson is living her dream! Owner of MORIAH Marketing, a small business turnaround consulting company, working with clients from all over the world; MORIAH Marketing calls Fletcher, NC home! Sandi balances her time between work, family and community outreach. As a volunteer in women's prisons across the U.S. for the last 14 years, she shares hope and faith with women who are incarcerated. Whether enjoying the beauty of the mountains, assisting companies increase their bottom line or sharing with inmates; Sandi is realizing her vision of building her homeplace right here. Marketing Coordinator for Park Ridge Hospital. Park Ridge Hospital and its 1,000+ associates have proudly served the Fletcher community since 1910. Jodi has worked in healthcare marketing and communications since joining Park Ridge Hospital in March of 2000.  She has lived in Western North Carolina since 1994, and currently resides in Horse Shoe with her husband, Bill and daughter, Jenna. Jodi is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Fletcher, and serves various organizations in the community on boards and committees. Jodi joined the FABA Board of Directors in January, 2009.

Rachel Helton is a native to the Fletcher area and has recently come back to this market after working for First Citizens Bank in the Brevard area. She is currently serving as the Financial Services Manager for First Citizens Bank in Fletcher. She and her husband Chris have been married for 5 years and have a four year old son named Garrett. Rachel focuses on serving medical, dental and other professionals, small businesses and individuals in the community by helping them achieve their financial goals. She enjoys hiking, snow skiing, college basketball and spending time with family and friends.

Executive Assistant of Huntley Surgical Consulting for five years.  President of the Rotary Club of Fletcher.  Graduate of Saddleback College Mission Viejo California. Resides in Pisgah Forest with his wife.  Has three children and two grandchildren.

Pamela is office manager of the Fletcher branch of General Insurance Services which opened in July 2007.  She has been with General Insurance Services since 2004 and has been in the insurance business since 1997.  Currently licensed in property, casualty, life and health to meet all your insurance needs.  Born in Henderson county and owns a home in Zirconia. 

I have been a full time resident of NC now for 2 years, but have maintained a mountain home for over 6 yrs.  After falling in love with the community I decided I wanted to relocate and make my home here.  I have been in the financial industry for some 19 years. Serving customers with there total financial needs . Currently I am the Banking Center Manager of Asheville Savings Bank Fletcher location located at 3551 Hendersonville Rd. My primary role is to service Small Business in the Fletcher area.  I absolutely love what I do and who I work for.  I have always been very involved in the community and pride myself on working for a company that not only supports those causes but truly believes that "every customer counts" .  I currently sit on the Fletcher Rotary board and am an active member of ALHC and Hands On Asheville.

Business Development Manager for Youngblood Properties, focusing on the use and development of commercial property along US 25 south of Fletcher. I have been with this company for 3 years.  Formally I was president of Youngblood Truck Lines which had been headquartered in the Fletcher area for over 70 years.  The facilities we occupied are the facilities we are currently managing as commercial property.  I have been a lifelong resident of the Fletcher area.
